PermaNet® Dual
Our first dual active-ingredient net for superior efficacy in areas with high insecticide resistance.
Description
PermaNet® Dual is our first dual active-ingredient net, combining two insecticides with different modes of action. Deltamethrin disrupts the mosquito nervous system while chlorfenapyr disrupts energy production, killing even highly resistant mosquitoes.
Key features
- Pyrethroid-chlorfenapyr nets are the only net class with a strong WHO recommendation for use in areas of high insecticide resistance
- Data suggest pyrethroid-chlorfenapyr nets may reduce malaria cases by up to 70% over 3 years of consistent use
- Fastest production scale-up in recent history to meet exceptional country demand
- PermaNet® Dual was WHO-prequalified in March 2023
